Hi there! I’m a curious blend of economist, data scientist, and machine learning researcher — freshly minted with a Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine (2024).
I love diving into data to tackle big (and sometimes small-but-mighty) socioeconomic questions. I’m a flexible problem solver, just as comfortable analyzing how people manage their money as I am exploring how education policies work, assessing community vulnerability, or designing tools to spot data quality issues.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats — from crunching numbers in academia, to digging into government stats at the Census Bureau, to partnering with global orgs like the UN and World Bank, and advising through private consulting gigs.
If you're up for a chat about exciting job opportunities, research, or potential collaborations — I’d love to hear from you!
6+ Years of Research, Insights, and Impact
I’m a dreamer and a doer. I have a strong background in R, Python, econometrics, and machine learning, and I’m always learning new tools to solve new problems. I enjoy turning complex data into clear insights and love finding simple ways to explain big ideas to different audiences.
